Hostel Residential Inn

I've stayed at this hostel twice, and I wouldn't have come back if it weren't so good. Jesiel is a lovely person, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. I definitely recommend the place to everyone. The breakfast is excellent too. I have nothing to complain about, only praise for the place and for Jesiel, who always welcomes us so warmly. You can go without worry!

My husband, daughter, and I stayed recently, and Sr.Jesiel gave us a lovely welcome. The place is clean, family-friendly, and safe. I recommend it.

The place is comfortable and lovely, with a family atmosphere among the other guests, staff, and the pets in the courtyard. Cleaning was thorough and on schedule, and the services were well done. The location isn't ideal, though it didn't matter too much: it's not very far from Galeão Airport or downtown by Uber, and it's near a SuperVia train station. The internet could be better.

The place was comfortable and the service was good, even though the location is a bit out of the way. It takes about 30 minutes by taxi to reach the central area, and the neighborhood didn’t seem very safe, so I wouldn’t suggest walking around there. The owner was friendly and had a dog and a cat. On my second day, he brought home a kitten and asked what it was called in Japanese. I said “kitten,” so the cat ended up being named “koneko.” I wonder what they’ll call it when it grows up. They don’t speak much English, but speaking slowly worked fine. My room had a card key, and soap and towels were provided. I stayed during Rio Carnival.
