For the price and service, this was the best of the hostels I checked around Copacabana. When we arrived, the receptionist spoke only a little English, but everything else was fine.

The staff were friendly, the rates were affordable, and the beach is close by. The bathrooms could be cleaned more regularly, and sometimes food items go missing.

The favela tour I booked through Rio Ritz was the best tour I've ever taken, and great value too.
