Hotel Atlântico Prime

The breakfast was awful, and the hotel had no working WiFi. The neighborhood felt shady, with lots of trash and people with addictions around. The receptionists weren’t friendly and didn’t answer when I called.

The area felt unsafe at night, with drug users hanging around outside and no security in sight. Inside, the breakfast room was packed and didn’t have enough seats for the guests. I arrived at Hotel Atlântico Prime early on May 28 and found the A/C wasn’t working. After several requests, I was moved to a room with three beds, dirty sheets and no towels. The next morning I got another room, but its A/C and safe still didn’t work. I asked to cancel the rest of my stay, and the receptionist and duty manager agreed that the remaining nights would be refunded through my booking site. I left, but they never processed it and ignored what we’d agreed. Dirty, dishonest and unsafe. Avoid it.

I couldn’t rest in the room because it wasn’t clean, and there were white bugs on the sheets and pillows. The building’s exterior is old.

When I chose to leave, the receptionist said I’d get a refund for the remaining balance and asked me to write a letter. I did, but I still haven’t received my money, even though I followed their instructions. Before that, I’d had to switch rooms three times because of the poor conditions. Service and cleanliness both need serious work. Communication was bad, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and untrained. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
