We chose the location for carnival, and it worked well. We could walk to the sambadrom, and Lapa had great parties. There was a big party right outside, but the room stayed quiet. The staff were very kind and the service was good. The bed was the worst part and the reason for the three stars. It was hard and slippery, so even the bed linens wouldn't stay put. Please replace the beds as soon as possible. Our suite had a sauna and bathtub, but it seemed past its best. Maybe it was luxurious in the 90s, but all the buttons and the panel for lights, AC, and music were confusing. The sauna was also missing something important: rocks.

The place is pleasant and comfortable, and I have no real complaints otherwise. But the entrance is awful if you want more privacy, since it's on a busy street. The bathroom shower has no door, so everything gets wet when you shower 🤦🏻♀️

Terrible. The service was awful, everything was old, and the bed linen was horrendous. It was the worst service I've ever experienced. They couldn't even offer a simple plug adapter. Never again, only stayed because there wasn't another option.
