I can't believe people rent out a place this old and unhygienic and call it a hotel. There was no A/C, and only the fan worked. The enclosed area smelled bad, the bed covers were dirty, and there were leftover drinks in the refrigerator. Broken glass covered the floor, and I nearly hurt my feet. As you can see in the photo, there's also a sharp edge beside the bed that could injure you while you're asleep. The toilet and shower were dirty, and there wasn't even anywhere to hang a small towel. One of my friends came to visit me inside the property, and they asked for extra money for a full day. Absolutely unbelievable.

I booked 4 nights through Booking.com and got a confirmation email, but the hotel cancelled the reservation without notifying me. I checked the night before departure and found there was no reservation at all. Luckily I managed to make a new last-minute booking, which was cheaper than the original. Nobody at reception spoke a word of English to explain what had happened. Our ground-floor room smelled so bad that by the second day I had to buy an air freshener.

The staff were really kind, and despite the inconveniences, the place didn't feel uncomfortable. The air conditioning was very noisy, and there were lots of ants and other little bugs on the walls, floor, and in the toilet. Still, it was okay, and the included breakfast helped. Long story short, you get what you pay for.

It was cheap and clean, though really dated.
