Getting around was easy from Rio Claro Hotel, since it’s in the city center and close to the metro. I stayed two nights, but the bed was uncomfortable and the room wasn’t clean. Breakfast was another problem: the area had only four tables and eight chairs, so it got overcrowded and people often had to wait for a seat. That made for an uncomfortable, unacceptable situation. The location is a real advantage, but comfort and cleanliness need a lot of improvement.

I slept well and felt safe here. The small, simple room was spotless, with a comfortable bed, working fridge and air conditioner, and a private bathroom. It’s fairly priced and well placed for the subway, shops, restaurants, and beach. Just keep in mind that the building can only be reached by stairs, so consider your mobility before booking.

Breakfast was good, and the location was good too.

The staff were cool, and there are plenty of services and transport options nearby in a good area. My room and bathroom were small, but clean and okay.

The location is really good, and breakfast was good too. The rooms are basic, but enough. The staff don’t speak English, though they do their best and are friendly.
