The photos say it all. The hotel is run down, the room is as bad as it looks, and the location didn’t feel safe. There is free parking, but you have to drive through reception to get to it. We couldn’t sleep that night because a party across the road went on until 7 am. Don’t go there!

We couldn’t sleep properly because there was a lot of noise near the hotel, and the whole stay was a bad experience. At check-in, the attendant couldn’t find our reservation. Our first room was horrible and smelly, with stained sheets and pillows, and the TV wasn’t working. They changed our room, but it took more than four hours to make the new one available. When we finally got in, it was in the same terrible condition. The minibar was badly rusted. I asked the receptionist if they had a microwave to warm milk for my baby, and she said they didn’t. How does a place that serves breakfast not have a microwave?

Everything was so perfectly thought out: 1. The shower only drips instead of giving you water, all in the name of helping the environment. 2. Rio de Janeiro has such a strong connection with nature, so of course the air conditioner brought a waterfall into the room. 3. We didn’t know club tickets came with the stay. Better yet, we didn’t even have to leave the room to enjoy it. I heard every song all night until morning.

The staff were polite, but the hotel’s facilities were in terrible shape, nothing like the photos. It looked like an abandoned building. The place was dirty, full of mosquitoes, and had a roof tile that scratches. I got very sick and had to bring my trip forward by two days. Such a sad stay.
