Infinity Copacabana Hotel

It’s an old, poorly maintained hotel, and the photos on the website aren’t current. The rooms are small, old, and uncomfortable, while the towels and room smell damp. It might be a decent deal for younger people, but don’t expect the place to match those pictures. The one good thing was the man at reception, who was very kind and gave us a refund so we could change hotels.

A cozy hotel in a good spot, with comfortable beds and good air conditioning.

For the area, it’s a decent budget choice with average rates. The stay itself was standard, and the hotel was okay, but I didn’t care for the bedding. The bed and pillows reminded me of a hospital. I had to leave two days early, and they wouldn’t refund those nights. They had the right to refuse, but it’s not how I like to do business, so I’ll stay somewhere else next time. They’ll make double on that room now. Sometimes life happens, I get it, but it feels like money always comes first. They didn’t earn a repeat customer or a positive review.

What a total nightmare. The room looked different from the photos when we walked in, it was filthy, and it smelled strongly of chlorine. There was a dirty, stained towel on the toilet lid. We checked out right away. After we contacted the booking site, they claimed we hadn’t checked out and had agreed to get a refund of just 1/20 of what we paid. That’s nonsense, we didn’t agree to anything. This place is a scam. Avoid it at all costs.
