La Suite by Dussol

The staff made our honeymoon at La Suite really memorable. Andre, Emilie and Ronaldo were especially kind, helpful and patient, and handled everything with care. My husband and I spent four days here after three busy days in central Rio, and it was just the peaceful, beautiful break we needed amid such a vibrant city. Our room had a huge amount of space and an amazing view over southern Rio. La Suite is about a 20-minute cab ride from the central areas, including Ipanema and Copacabana, and cabs are very cheap. Nearby, you’ve got Joatinga, Barra de Tijuca and Sao Conrado, plus Praia de Joatinga, around five minutes away by cab or a 25-minute walk. The pool is gorgeous, though, and you have everything you need right there. We’d highly recommend staying here if you want a little serenity in Rio.

The terrace views were amazing, and the host and staff were lovely. I felt so relaxed, I didn't want to leave.

The views are absolutely jaw-dropping, and the staff and service were amazing. The room looked lovely, though the water pressure and temperature need attention to make the stay perfect. It’s about 15 minutes west of Leblon, so it might not be central for sightseeing. We stayed near Copacabana for that, then came here for a few relaxing days. I’d recommend it.

The hotel’s lavish look and niche art from around the world made it feel like a true boutique place. The views and service were easily the best of all the hotels my girlfriend and I stayed at, and I can’t praise Daniel enough. His care and dedication made the stay a joy, and I’d come back just for that. Leaving was almost heartbreaking. My only gripe was that the white suite needed more cleaning, and the sheets weren’t clean when we arrived. They fixed both issues promptly. I’d come back!
