Location is a real plus. Leblon felt much safer than other Rio districts, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The space is limited, though, and breakfast is included in a fairly small area, so getting up early may help avoid problems. Cleanliness was very good on the floors and in the bathroom, but the sheets and towels could be better, which most people will care about. I had a pretty good experience with the staff, who were attentive to how my stay was going and knew the area well. Reginaldo, who was on the night shift, deserves a mention for being polite, attentive, and efficient. I rate Leblon all suites four stars as a former hostel trying to offer something more refined. If I hadn’t known it used to be a hostel, I’d probably have rated it lower.

I chose this place in Leblon for a good price while my stepdaughter had her immigration Visa medical exams. It worked perfectly because all the labs and medical offices were a five-minute walk away. I gave it four stars for cleanliness, price, and location. The rooms are small but have a TV and showers, and breakfast is provided. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. Leblon is a quaint, clean, pretty much safe neighborhood to explore, and the beach is about two blocks away.

The photos made the place look nice, but what I found on arrival was totally different. They charge for the stay up front, and if you leave before your booked days are over, they won’t return your money. The sink had mold, the shower was clogged, and both the bedroom and shower were tiny. The shower was probably about 2x2 wide, and the bed was 3feet by 8. The price was too high. I don’t recommend it.
