The reception team and the other staff were nice. It’s a pleasant, central hotel with basic facilities, though I don’t think it deserves the three stars shown on its listing. Breakfast could be better, but it wasn’t bad.

The location is great, right in the center of Rio and near a museum and aquarium, and breakfast was very good. The rooms are quite small, especially the bathrooms. It’s a nice place, but anyone wanting a comfortable hotel may want to look elsewhere.

Don’t book this place. It was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Rio de Janeiro, with horrible customer service. The daytime receptionist was a terrible person.

The employees were very nice, but the area felt really sketchy, basically like skid row. And the rooms are incredibly tiny.
