The room smelled moldy, the bathroom stall drain was clogged, and the pool was dirty with sludge. The bedding and towels were in terrible shape, and the place was dirty overall. They charge per person rather than per night, plus 10% for paying by card. The inn was in very poor condition and didn’t look like the photos on the site.

There was a cockroach in the room, which was dirty and hadn’t been made up before we arrived; they tidied it while we waited. The whole place felt filthy and moldy, with water running down the walls. The service was terrible, and there wasn’t even a doorbell. It’s awful, disgusting, and expensive, nowhere near worth even a ninth of the price. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. This place ought to be shut down by the health inspectors.

I only stayed one night because I had no real choice, and it was awful. The room was dirty, the bathroom drain was blocked, and mold covered the walls. The whole place looked abandoned. Stay far away.

The area was peaceful and well placed for visiting Rio’s main attractions. From the moment we arrived, Dona Ione and Sr Marcelo welcomed us warmly and were always helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. We had an excellent experience and I recommend it.

The room smelled moldy, and the owner was really rude. Nothing about the stay was worth it, it just left me angry. DO NOT STAY HERE.
