The Metro is a six-minute walk away, and breakfast has a variety of fruit. The breakfast staff were friendly and efficient. But there was lots of mold and mildew in the bathroom shower, and the toilet clogged the day before checkout. Maintenance never came to fix it.

The location is amazing, and the rooms are fine for the price. The service was kind and helpful, though staff barely speak English or Spanish. I’m giving four stars because of the small inconveniences, and because the one time I had breakfast there, I had stomach pain for the rest of the day. Be careful if you have a weak stomach.

Flamingo feels cool and non-touristy, while still feeling safe. I loved the 1930s art nouveau style architecture and decor, and the service and prices were great.

I’d like to stay here again. It’s a great deal, with a clean, nice room, a comfortable bed, an excellent shower, and a nice balcony. Breakfast was superb, and the restaurant team was among the friendliest around. When I checked in, the floor was a bit wet from cleaning and there was a faint cigarette smell, but both cleared up within an hour. The small garage is what you’d expect in a building from that time in the area.

The rooms need updating, but this is still a decent hotel for business. The buffet restaurant staff were super helpful and friendly, and the location is perfect, just a few steps from the beach.
