Location is a real plus. Leblon felt much safer than other Rio districts, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The space is limited, though, and breakfast is included in a fairly small area, so getting up early may help avoid problems. Cleanliness was very good on the floors and in the bathroom, but the sheets and towels could be better, which most people will care about. I had a pretty good experience with the staff, who were attentive to how my stay was going and knew the area well. Reginaldo, who was on the night shift, deserves a mention for being polite, attentive, and efficient. I rate Leblon all suites four stars as a former hostel trying to offer something more refined. If I hadn’t known it used to be a hostel, I’d probably have rated it lower.
