Rio Nature Adventure Hostel

The bathrooms were filthy, the dorms stayed hot even in winter because the fans were broken, and the shower head was falling apart. After five days of trying to make the best of it, I was told to leave, despite having booked two more nights. They'd overbooked, and an employee said this happens regularly. Other guests who came after me weren't turned away so shamelessly, perhaps because of their race or gender. I rarely leave bad hostel reviews, but this one isn't worth even its low price. I won't come back, and I'd tell anyone visiting Rio to find somewhere else.
