Eveli was a wonderful host, so attentive and helpful. My husband and I stayed at Solar from 31.12 to 02.01.21, and were warmly welcomed and looked after the whole time. The suite was comfortable, with spotless bed linen and bath towels. Breakfast was a treat on its own: delicious breads, carefully chosen dishes, and such lovely presentation. We also got tips on places to visit and where to eat. An incomparable experience, and we're grateful for all the warmth.

The place was far too expensive for what it offered, and the owner was awkward with guests and unwilling to be flexible. I felt watched constantly during my one night and morning there, even though she presented it as being attentive. I ended up feeling practically pushed out of the pool after asking repeatedly to use it, and it was dirty and almost abandoned. She hadn't wanted to make it available at all. The photos don't match reality. There was nothing to buy from the minibar as the booking advertised. Breakfast was poor: no cheese or ham, hard reheated bread, frozen juice, and nothing natural as claimed. All the food was handled, which seemed especially wrong during covid when individual portions should have been provided, given how concerned she said she was about everything. The place had no joy to it. I've since seen much better, cheaper places with a completely different level of welcome and service. In reply to the owner: I understand your concern for your guesthouse's public reputation. You should update the photos and information, including the menu, so they better reflect the property. Advertising matters, but it needs to be truthful. Food handling should be reconsidered, Italian food or otherwise, especially during covid. That would take investment, of course. You should also reconsider how you treat guests. Health is more than masks and distancing, however much you insist on those. Don't focus only on money. Criticism can help you improve if you know how to listen. Don't worry, we won't be back. Good sales!

There's not much space, and the beds are so narrow they make it hard to sleep. The owner is very friendly and makes the breakfast items herself. Almost everything offered is organic and wholegrain, which is great. But her four cats move around the area where the food is prepared, and I found that very unpleasant.

Just two suites, and a rooftop pool. The place is really cozy, the service is top quality, and the owner is charismatic and attentive. It's close to the little town center but quiet, without noise. Breakfast is all made in house, including breads, cakes, and juices. It's plentiful, delicious, and high quality, with everything 100% organic from her orchard. Soon she'll be launching picnic basket delivery with her products, so people can spend the day on the island without staying overnight, or have a brunch in the morning or afternoon as a couple or small group.
