Te Adoro Hotel

The big downside for me was the lack of natural light in the suite. If you want to wake up with the sunrise or spend a lot of time indoors, it may be worth asking whether a higher-floor room is available. I spent five days here and really enjoyed the stay. I booked the suite with the hydro-massage bath and private sauna, and thought it was very good value for the price. The room is a little dated in spots, but that gave it some character. Its mirrored details were playful and bold, and now I can say I'm a fan of mirrors on ceilings and walls. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveller. Check-in was easy, room service came on time and was attentive, and everything worked properly. I used the sauna several times. A few things, like the AC unit and wall fabric, could be updated. The portions were generous, with no skimping on the food. Some dishes were more hit or miss for flavor, but in general it was satisfying comfort food. The staff were flexible about adjustments and special requests, and my waiters were especially brilliant. I'd happily stay again, alone or as a couple, and would choose that suite again. It's a great budget-luxury option with personality.
