Villa Hostel

The rooms are great, though the bathroom was a bit dirty. The location is somewhat out of the way. Service was okay, but I didn’t use it.

As soon as we arrived and I’d barely put our bags in the room, they were already asking for the money. I paid half and said I’d pay the rest the next day, but when I got back that evening they asked for it again. That seemed to be their only concern. After that, there was nobody around except the people from the Japanese food delivery operation inside the hostel. The delivery drivers would stand chatting on the stairs, making it impossible to rest in the room at the front. Is there breakfast? It’s only in the advertising. We got to the room at 11 p.m. on Saturday. We left around 10 the next morning and nobody came to clean the room or bathroom. When we returned at about 10 p.m., there was no one at reception either. The air conditioner overheated and stopped working, leaving us in the heat overnight. They fixed it temporarily, but the same thing happened the next day, and my husband had to call someone to get it sorted. I understand that person may have had health problems, but couldn’t someone else have covered reception? Why leave the reception unattended? Is breakfast only in the ads? Why run a Japanese delivery restaurant inside a hostel? Parties at the hostel too? Honestly, it seems like a hobby for you and you don’t care about all the complaints. A successful business depends on its image and recommendations.

I’m giving it a 1 because zero isn’t an option. The breakfast here was disgraceful. The coffee tasted like dirty water, there were ants on the cakes, and the cold cuts had been cut in half to save money. The music was unpleasant, with funk playing early in the morning. Everything was poor quality, a real disregard for guests. I asked for my money back. I wouldn’t recommend this to an enemy. Nobody offered an explanation. Now the owner shows up here online to respond, where it’s easy, right, dear? If you didn’t want this review, you should have offered decent service first.
