The breakfast was wonderful, and the hotel was really clean with friendly service. Having a locked garage was another plus. Definitely worth it. It’s the best place in town, and I’ll stay there again next time I’m passing through.

I stayed at the hotel for a few days, and the reception staff stood out right away. Well done to them. Rurópolis is pretty remote, almost isolated, so you might not expect to find a good hotel there, but Planalto proves otherwise. Even though it’s not central, the extra drive is worth it for the service, comfortable rooms, hot water from a gas shower, and a good breakfast. It made a real difference during a long trip when I needed a place to rest. There are some things that could use attention. At night, you can hear loud conversations in the hallway outside the rooms. The shower was quite clogged with limescale, and the glass shower enclosures and cracked grout could do with an inspection. The shampoo holders need fixing too. Those little issues add up and give the place a neglected feel. I’d just come from a stay in a town with no hotel network and only one very basic place, so the contrast was huge. People coming from other good hotels may notice these details more. Breakfast has a decent selection: French rolls and sliced bread, one or two kinds of cake, tapioca, fruit, juice, coffee, and milk. You can also ask for scrambled eggs or pancakes. Free parking is available.
