A Casa do Nino B&B

The garden is a little oasis, full of plants that are clearly well cared for, and breakfast comes with fresh juices and homemade bread. After seven years of traveling, I still think Clara's carefully prepared breakfasts are the best I've had. Nino and Maria Clara are wonderful hosts. Whenever we come to Salvador, we stay here.

This is the best place I've stayed in Salvador. The inn is right by the sea, so you wake up to the sound of the waves. Its decor is simple and pretty, and it really feels like Bahia. The owners are incredibly warm and have great suggestions for outings and the best routes to take. Nothing but love for Casa do Nino!

We stayed for three nights as two couples. At present there are only two double rooms, each with its own bathroom. The hosts are incredibly friendly, helpful, attentive, and easy to talk to. They enjoy sharing a drink and having a nice chat, and the three dogs are sociable too. There's a small sandy beach by the house, reached via a staircase. Breakfast really stands out: everything served is homemade, and some of the fruit comes from the garden. It's a little paradise and a lovely place to feel at ease.

A welcoming place with lovely company, good food, and a great location. It's a perfect choice for a different kind of stay while on vacation.
