Carnaval Inn

This completely ruined my carnival experience. The place was expensive and unprofessional, and guests kept getting moved around. When I arrived, my reserved place wasn't ready, so they sent me to the other "hostel," where breakfast is served, to leave my bags. I was told I'd move later, then told I couldn't move until the next day. That first night I slept in a stuffy bedroom with one small fan and no windows, next to the breakfast room. At 8 am, staff were already yelling. After that they put me in a kitchen where they'd installed 4! beds. There's no common area or reception, and they gave me the wrong key. Only one person speaks English, and you can reach them only by phone. When I wanted to change something, they didn't reply. The wifi was bad, they didn't know the password, and told me to ask other guests. Do yourself a favour and find friends to rent an apartment with. It costs the same, but you'd get a spacious place with AC. Don't go here.
