Casa no Sitio Bela Vista

Being back home is the only downside, haha. My fiancée and I loved this place and hope to return soon. The peace here is hard to put into words: it's incredibly quiet, surrounded by nature, with a wonderful river view and a beautifully cared-for garden. Prices are very affordable, too. Jorge and Piri, the property's dogs, were adorable and adopted us while we were there. Bernardo and Virginia are wonderful people. I'll always remember the stories we shared one night in the garden by the pool. Waking up to birdsong, greenery, and sunlight coming through the window was priceless.

We stayed in this chalet after a wedding at Quinta da Aldeia, since it was nearby. Bernardo and Virgínia made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of attention. They even told us about their travels through South America. The place was clean and cozy, with plenty of contact with nature. Really good, and I'd definitely come back.

The bigger chalet is incredibly cozy, and everything is simple but just what you need. Bernardo and Virgínia are so helpful, which made the stay even better. The property has a lovely feel and pleasant weather. Being away from the city yet surrounded by so much nature gave my body a real rest and helped me feel recharged. Well worth staying there.

I went with my husband to celebrate my birthday, and it was the best. I'm so grateful to Virgínia, Bernardo, and their lovely son for all their care and affection. They're a wonderful couple, and we loved it. Their dogs welcome you with so much love. I wanted to take Jorge and Piri home, but Bernardo wouldn't let me, haha. Thanks for everything. Treat them well, because they deserve it, and they'll treat you just as well. It was perfect, and you will love it.
