COPDS0110 - Pedra do Sal Privilege

The landlord has now said I can leave without paying the fee, which is a reasonable response to this issue. I use a wheelchair and moved into Pedra do Sal Privilege in July. The property manager said both wheelchair lifts, at the entrance and by the pool, would be fixed by August. It's October now and neither has been repaired. I've repeatedly asked the manager for updates and also contacted the landlord directly. The latest response was that they would discuss it at a meeting. I'm tired of discussions. I need action now. Other things have been installed or repaired while I've lived here: vending machines, the gym, and the laundry machines. The wheelchair lifts still haven't been dealt with, even though they should have been the priority. I asked for a rent discount because I can't use the main entrance and have to come in through the garage. The pool is also unreachable without taking the stairs. The manager said no to a discount. It's unfair to charge me the same when I can't have the same experience. They need to prioritize wheelchair users and treat our needs properly. The workers are the only good part of this place. The doormen and janitors have been gracious and helpful through all of this. Since I can't leave independently through the garage, the doormen open it for me, and the janitor has helped take out my trash. They are kind and accommodating and deserve five stars. I'm sure they're not paid enough.
