After a long flight from Germany, I arrived at 11 PM for my two-night reservation in February 2025, only to find the hotel had overbooked. They offered me another room at the same price, with no windows, dirty walls, and a destroyed bathroom. It was incredibly frustrating, and I had to walk around the streets at night looking for somewhere else to stay.

I've only been at Farol de Itapuã for a few days, but the rooms and service have both been great. The staff are thoughtful, and the place is very enjoyable. It's close to the beach, though the location could be better: there aren't many restaurants or markets nearby, and the area seems a little unsafe.

Something's changed since I was here last, so I can't give it more than three stars, sorry. They said they'll make improvements before next time.

The room was wonderful, with a big, comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, just not a wow.

The bathroom door wouldn't close, and the staff still hadn't fixed it after I complained three times. Maintenance was poor, and the cleaning could have been better.
