This was my second time at the hostel. It’s a good choice if you want to save money, don’t need luxury, and want to be near everything downtown. The location is perfect, and the facilities match what they offer. The bathrooms were clean and orderly, and there’s a spacious kitchen if you want to make your own food. The automatic gate and self-closing doors give it a fairly secure feel. In a shared room, though, one ceiling fan isn’t enough; it needs another. I recommend it, the price is fair for what you get.

I had a great stay, and the five of us were made to feel very welcome. The kitchen is well equipped, and they provide mineral water so you don’t have to buy it. The shared bathrooms were always clean. The internet wasn’t working, but we were out most of the time, so it was fine. Our room had one fan, which was clean and worked well, though another one would have made it perfect. It’s well located, easy to get to and leave by Uber, and close to buses and the metro.

Big thanks to Massaru and Carla, the hostel hosts. They’re attentive and helpful, keep the place clean, and make things fun with their lovely company. The kitchen has everything you need and stays clean throughout the day. The rooms are tidy and comfortable enough to rest in, and the Wi-Fi was good. The hostel is right in the center, close to pelourinho, pharmacies, a market, and other shops. A great value option if you’re passing through salvador.

Great location, very close to the main tourist spots, and it’s really cheap. The room was hot and stuffy, though, and the fan didn’t help the person in the top bunk.
