The breakfast room looks across the square toward the sea, and breakfast is good at both locations. There are two hostels, one here and another near the cross statue. This one has air conditioning; the other has fans, costs less, and is much nicer. One drain at this location smells a little. A team member who speaks brilliant English was incredibly helpful. It’s a great place to stay.

Breakfast was included and truly outstanding, and the staff were friendly. The hostel is basic but clean, and fair for the low price. Its location is excellent, right in the heart of the safe part of Pelourinho, but it’s incredibly noisy. We were there on a Saturday night and it felt like we were sleeping in the bar downstairs. Some people may not mind, but be aware of what you’re getting into.

After spending five months in northeast Brazil, I’d say this was probably the best value place I stayed. It was clean and organized, in a great location, and the staff were amazing and so helpful. I highly recommend it while you’re in Salvador.

Right in the middle of Pelourinho, the location is fantastic. The staff were amazing, breakfast was freshly made in the morning, and the price was excellent. Definitely recommend it!
