The rooms are cleaned and have a beautiful view of the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful, and even though they don’t speak English, they do their best to understand and communicate. Bring your own toiletries, since none are provided.

The location is a real plus, just meters from the ocean, and the morning view is always lovely. Breakfast was another highlight, with basically everything you need, and all the staff were very kind. I was looking for somewhere cheap, and 'Alah Mar' had a good price and strong reviews, so it ranked high on my list. Maybe I’m too demanding, or something went wrong, but privacy was a constant problem. The room doors were paper-thin, so I could hear everything outside. The curtains were small enough that someone outside could look in if they wanted. The bathroom was nothing special, but it did the job. The air conditioning worked, as you’d expect and hope in Brazil.

I tried the food at Velas D'içar Restaurant and really enjoyed it. There were lots of menu options, and the place itself was okay too.
