Close to home, which is handy.

We didn’t have a good stay. The bathroom in our first room was completely dark. After we reported it to reception, they moved us, but the shower in the next room had its own problem: the water wouldn’t heat up.

The location worked well for me. You can walk to the beach, and there are restaurants nearby where you can pick up a meal to eat at the inn. There’s also Segredos de Itapuã square close by, with food trucks in the late afternoon. The surrounding streets felt rather deserted, though, so walking around at night wasn’t great. I stayed in April 2024 and am posting this here because Booking glitched and sent the wrong version of my review. I had to delete it, so I’m putting it up here instead. I booked a double room, which isn’t the inn’s most basic option. The place is simple and organized, more like an inn, and you pay just for the room with no extras. I thought the price was good. There’s no breakfast or restaurant, but the staff kindly heated up my dinner in their microwave. Snacks were for sale at reception. The reception team did their job well. There’s a gate at the entrance that staff need to open when you arrive for security, and you have to take the stairs to get to the rooms. My room was simple, clean, and comfortable, with a window facing the corridor. I liked the towel folded into a swan. I saw people saying they’d only stay one night; I’d stay longer. I’m used to hostels and am pretty independent. It was a positively memorable stay, and I’d come back.

For the price, this place is really worth it. It’s near the beach, a delicatessen, and big supermarkets, and there’s a nice view from the third floor. I loved it here and will be back.
