The patio was perfect for watching the sunset, and the service was wonderful. It’s also easy to get to pelourinho. A lovely place to stay in Salvador!

The location is prime: step outside and there's a lively street, with good restaurants nearby. A little farther on, there's a busy local park where families and food vendors mix, and signs point toward popular sights. The owner is a lovely woman who bought the charming boutique hotel in 2022. The helpful staff add to the welcoming feel, and breakfast changed a little each day. We were first shown a beautiful, cheerful room with a balcony, but the air conditioning wasn't strong. Staff warned us that another room downstairs had good air conditioning but was much smaller and had no sea view. As seniors, we like our comforts, but sadly we had to choose the small inside room so we could sleep comfortably at night.

The hotel is clean, air conditioned, quiet, and safe, in a great spot in the old city. You can walk around at most hours, and staying on this street avoids some of the noise you might get near the main squares. Our hot water was broken, but the owner offered us another bathroom to use. We arrived at 8 am after a long night on the bus, and the owner greeted us warmly and offered breakfast while we waited for our room. The breakfast was very well done, with a nice range of fruit, cakes, and local foods, plus good coffee. We got into the room an hour later. We had an early flight the next morning and were able to eat before 7 am. We'd definitely stay again.

Really good value for money, and there's an amazing sea view from the breakfast area. It's a lovely little hotel, with a really friendly welcome from the younger guy and the rest of the staff.
