Pousada Belo Mar

I absolutely loved it! The location was perfect, breakfast was wonderful, and the service made all the difference. Everyone was so kind and attentive. It felt like such a warm, easy stay, and I already want to come back!

For one night, it was great value. The room was simple but very clean and tidy, with a good-sized bathroom, and the location is convenient, close to the mall. Service was a real plus: we had to leave in the middle of the night, and the man who finished our checkout was extremely kind and helpful. He waited for our Uber to arrive and only went back to the pousada once we were in the car. That care made a great impression. The shared areas could use more care, especially with cleaning and organization. The patio and breakfast area, which you pass through to reach the rooms, could be better maintained. We also heard other guests talking during the night, which bothered us a little.

The staff were helpful, especially Jéssica, and the location is great. There's not much on offer when it comes to food or accommodation.

For the price, it's about what you'd expect, so don't arrive expecting much. My room was mainly somewhere to sleep and keep my things, and it worked for that. The location is perfect, close to everything, and the area is very quiet. I felt safe walking back late at night. The staff were consistently prompt and helpful. The rooms could use a lot of improvement. There's no minibar, and the double bed is made by pushing two single beds together. The shower leaked all night, dripping enough to really disturb my sleep, and the bathroom is tiny with very weak water pressure. Breakfast was very basic. I stayed three nights and never managed to eat, because there was nothing left by 8:40 am, not even coffee. We'd been told breakfast ran until 10, but nothing had been replenished.
