Itapuã is a lovely area, and this pousada is close to the beach and to just about everything. The place feels warm and welcoming, and Sofia took such good care of us when we arrived. I'd happily stay here again.

What stood out was the accommodation, along with how polite and friendly everyone who helped us was.

I'm writing on behalf of my husband, who used to stay here whenever he visited Salvador. He won't be coming back, and we'll look for somewhere else. The room was dirty, hot, and poorly ventilated, with an old mattress and a bed whose railings were broken. There was no soap, no breakfast, and the bathroom and just about everything else were very old. The water went out every night, and the owner was rude. He checked in at 6:30 in the morning on the 30th and returned the key around 7 the morning of the 1st, but they still charged him for three days. There's so much more I could say about what he saw there. I can't recommend this place.
