The breakfast was the biggest letdown. When I came down at 9:15, only leftovers were on the table. There were very few choices, and the food didn't match what they charge or show much concern for quality: stale bread, no cheese, stale cake, watery juice, greasy cuscuz and scrambled egg, and just a cooked banana. I asked an employee for a cooked banana; she said she'd prepare one, but never did, so I left hungry. The room was shabby, with no minibar, and the bathroom was cramped. The water looked yellow in the sink, toilet, and shower. They charge a lot but provide terrible service. I felt as if I were staying in a stranger's home, not a pousada costing nearly 300 reais a night. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It isn't worth it, just money wasted.

We ended up staying here on a last-minute trip to Salvador with friends. The city was full, so despite the poor reviews, we had no other choice. The air conditioning was broken, and the room had no working unit. The sheets were dirty and the bathroom was terribly unclean. It looked as though the place had only been given a quick wipe before we arrived. I also found the owner rather rude at times. Breakfast was meager, with almost nothing on offer. The price is far too high for what you get. I wouldn't recommend this place or stay here again.
