The host is such a lovely person, and the place feels more like a home with some soul than a standard stay. It's in a quiet, safe residential area, with good food nearby and the historic center about a 15-minute walk away. The house and rooms have an old-world feel, and breakfast is really tasty.

The service was amazing and everything was impeccably clean. From the nearby square, you can explore Pelourinho's historic streets along a calm road lined with charming shops, authentic pubs, and restaurants serving regional food. It’s a lovely way to take in Salvador’s slow pace. Great location.
