Sean, the Irish owner, was an exemplary host, and the English-speaking staff were informative and great. It's a pretty pousada for the price, in a fantastic spot just one block from the beach and Barra Lighthouse. The rooms were pleasant, some with balconies or a terrace. Breakfast was decent, laundry service was good, and there are nice cafes and restaurants nearby.

The location is central and lovely, just a few minutes from the beach and great restaurants. We had excellent accommodation and service throughout our stay, along with a very good breakfast. Highly recommended.
