I'm staying at this pousada for the second time. It's a quaint place, and the staff are very friendly. My room was clean and spacious, with good air conditioning. Breakfast was fine and there was enough food, though there wasn't as much choice as at other places, and it doesn't start especially early.

There isn't much room in either the guest room or the breakfast area, and I'm not sure this place deserves to be called a pousada. The owner initially refused to take my credit card, even though Visa signs are displayed all over the pousada, despite the charge being several hundred euros. I didn't have enough cash, so I started setting up a PayPal payment on his computer, as we'd done for the deposit. Then he said we could use a credit card after all, but it would cost 10% more. A real business-minded approach...
