My family of seven stayed here in 2007. There was plenty of breakfast to choose from, served in a clean, attractive, relaxed setting. The common areas were especially memorable: they opened onto beautiful gardens that were clearly well looked after. Service was excellent, and the rooms were clean and furnished well enough. None of the staff spoke English at the time. We could walk around the neighborhood to a bakery or restaurant, or to catch a bus into the city.

The terrace is a nice spot to relax in the shade of the big old trees. It's in a great location, though the rooms are small and sparsely furnished.

The room wasn't cleaned, and the towels weren't changed. They don't speak any English. I can't recommend this place.

This was the worst hotel or inn stay I've had after traveling a lot for work. I won't come back or recommend it. The room was far too small, there was a lizard on the wall, and breakfast was awful, with warm juice and very little choice. I asked for a sausage omelet, and the sausage had a smell to it.

Daniela and the whole team made our stay great, thank you! We found the rooms really comfortable, and breakfast was very good. It's in a quiet neighborhood that's still close to everything, a lovely place to stay while visiting Salvador de Bahia.
