Torres House Smart Barra com WiFi

The Airbnb unit I rented was excellent, in a new building on a lovely street just behind the Barra promenade. There’s a beautiful rooftop pool and a shared laundry room that’s really handy. The other areas are just as beautiful and well equipped, though they’re still waiting to open as the building works through its rules. A great vacation rental.

The building’s rules made the stay frustrating, so I wouldn’t recommend it or come back. You can’t walk through the common areas in swimwear, and after the beach you have to enter through the garage. That’s uncomfortable and especially risky with children, since the entrance is shared with vehicles. Despite being near the beach, it doesn’t offer the convenience or sense of safety I’d want on a beach trip.

I’m in room 403 on 03/08. My fiancée and I went to the beach with a couple of friends. The women came back briefly to pick up a product, wearing bikinis and cover-ups, then came back to use the bathroom. When we returned later, the doorman stopped them and told them to enter through the garage because they were wearing cover-ups and bikinis. We were right by the beach, yet beach clothes weren’t allowed at the building entrance. Ridiculous.

Our first day there was awful. The water was off, so after coming back from the beach we couldn’t use the toilet, shower, sink, or cook anything. The owner had already been told about the outage but hadn’t let us know. We left for another place to stay. If Booking hadn’t helped, we wouldn’t have gotten a refund. I don’t recommend it, it’ll only stress you out.
