Beto was such a friendly, helpful host, and even gave us a lift to a nearby restaurant. Our room felt more like a little two-bedroom apartment than a hotel room, with a living room and a small kitchen. The simple furniture was cute, the beds were very comfortable, and each bedroom had AC. Everything was clean, the shower was nice and hot, and the common dining area always had coffee and homemade cake. Breakfast was included, with tapioca and eggs made to order. There’s a small pool, plus hammocks in the hallway lounge. I’d definitely stay here again.

Beto was attentive throughout our stay at Chale Travosa, even though we didn’t speak the same language. He’d already been helping us plan before we arrived in Brazil, with tips about tours, transport and food. We really enjoyed the trips to emendadas and ponto verde, and he even drove us to and from dinner every night. The rooms were spacious and had good AC. We had an amazing time in Santo Amaro and really appreciated his help.

Beto and Dirce looked after us so well that I’d give them 10 stars if I could. It’s the best inn in Santo Amaro, with a great breakfast, spacious rooms and an absolutely spotless bathroom. We’ll definitely be back.

Everything was clean, spacious and well organized, and the pousada was quiet and cozy. I stayed with a couple of friends, and we were given a very warm welcome. The place has all the utensils you need and offers plenty of help. We’ll be back for sure. Thanks, dona Dirce.

Chalé Travosa was a wonderful choice. Dirce gave us such a warm, affectionate welcome that we felt at home right away. She’s someone you carry in your heart. Beto was attentive and helpful too, taking us to places and picking us up, suggesting outings, making reservations, sharing tips and telling us lots of stories. They’re a fantastic pair, and the staff were also friendly and lovely. Breakfast was great. Besides what was laid out, they’d make fresh dishes to order, including couscous, omelets, fried or scrambled eggs, tapioca and toasted ham and cheese sandwiches. The apartment was comfortable and spacious, with AC, a living room, kitchen, laundry area, two bedrooms, wardrobes, linens, towels, pillows and a good shower. One bedroom had a double bed, while the other had two bunk beds. There were utensils, a stove and a microwave for anyone wanting to cook. Outside, the pool, tables and a lovely hammock in front of each apartment made the area very inviting.
