Pousada Boa Vista

The owners were kind and friendly, and the hotel's little dog, Hulk, was especially sweet and gentle. It was my first stay here and I liked everything. My room, number 02, was clean and cozy, with a balcony view facing the street. The location is great, and breakfast was plentiful. I have nothing to complain about.

We stayed over the Labor Day holiday. Our suite, Nº 06, was very spacious, and Sr. Arnaldo was helpful whenever we needed him. The inn is right in the city center, which made the location convenient. Breakfast was on the simple side, but everything was fine.

The bathroom could have used a deeper clean, since there was grime in the grout that made it look dirty. I also found the shower hard to adjust, and it took a while to get the temperature right. The room was medium-sized and came with an empty minibar, a TV with only a few channels, and a heater. The thick blankets suited the cold weather, the towels were new, and there was a small toiletries kit with one shampoo and two soaps. Breakfast was simple but really tasty, with four kinds of bread, a cake, cold cuts, cereal, juice, yogurt, milk, coffee, and some fruit. The reception staff were friendly and polite, and there's a very cute, gentle dog at the inn. Its location is handy for walking to the shops near the center, while the main sights are about 15 minutes away by car. Parking is available on site.

The inn itself was clean, and breakfast was decent despite the limited variety. Its location in the town center was the only real plus for us. The room we stayed in had an unbearable sewer smell coming from the bathroom. For the price of the stay, we found more pleasant options in town.
