Pousada Lua e Sol

We left completely charmed by the care and attention, the spotless place, and how lovely it all looked. The breakfast was wonderful and the afternoon tea was delicious. We loved our stay and highly recommend it!

The place has a special energy that's hard to put into words. There are trails, portals, a sacred mandala, and crystals. Walking around the mandala and picking a stone from the cauldron in its center was a magical moment, and the message felt deeply symbolic. It really moved us. Giselli also shared great tips for outings and places in the area. She feels like much more than a host, and now feels like part of our lives. We have a feeling this was only the first of many visits. We’re grateful the universe brought us to Lua e Sol, and especially to Giselli. Our chalet was spacious and cozy, with a lovely whirlpool tub that we used every day with a good glass of wine. Breakfast came to the chalet in a picnic basket, full of delicious things made with care. Even before we arrived, Giselli showed us the sunrise at the inn in a video she made for us. That warm welcome, along with the care we felt from our first booking contact, made us feel like family. An unforgettable stay. A place to discover, love, experience, and come back to.

The location is great for relaxing and enjoying nature, and the whole place feels peaceful, welcoming, and very well cared for. My room was clean and comfortable, with tasteful decor. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful, varied, and fresh. Giseli, the owner, deserves a special mention. She was kind and always ready to help, and made us feel so welcome. I had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for quiet and good service. I’ll be back.

We came for four days to celebrate our wedding anniversary and ended up staying two more. On our anniversary, the owner gave us a bottle of wine. Giseli is such a warm, lovely person, and her care and attention made the visit special. Thanks for welcoming us so kindly, Gi. I already miss you! The inn is peaceful and cozy, with a kind of calm that's hard to explain. Breakfast was fantastic and brought to our room at the time we arranged. The afternoon tea came to the room too, both served in baskets full of good things. Pousada Lua e Sol was wonderful. We recommend it wholeheartedly.
