Hostel Castell di Madre

I loved it, and I’ll come back whenever I’m in Santos. The space itself is amazing, and the team treated us impeccably. It had things available that I haven’t found at other hostels I’ve stayed in. Shops and markets are a five-minute walk away, and the beach is about seven minutes on foot. Honestly, it felt surreal!

Cleiton was so kind and attentive, always ready to help. The hostel was also spotless and well organized, with a really good location. It’s such a cozy place. I’d definitely stay here again when I’m in Santos, and would recommend it.

The renovation of this building turned out really well. I needed a decent place for one night near Ponta da Praia, and this hostel worked out perfectly. It’s close to the beach, a shopping mall, and a supermarket, and the service was courteous. Breakfast costs extra, starts at 7 a.m., and is R$ 25,00; a bath towel costs ten reais. There aren’t any lockers with keys yet. The air conditioning is the split type. I didn’t see automatic lights on the stairs, which would be useful at night when you can’t remember where the switch is.

The location was helpful, and the staff were attentive. It was a good stay at Hostel Castell Di Madre, with a clean, organized, peaceful atmosphere. I’d stay here again.
