Pousada Terra dos Pássaros

I loved waking up to that sunrise over the striking natural landscape. The big window in our room framed the hills like a picture, and the chalets balance comfort with being close to nature really well. The shower and hot tub were wonderful, the bed was comfortable, and there was a hair dryer in the bathroom. Breakfast was perfect, especially the best croissants and pamonha I've ever had, freshly made and still warm. There are five chalets for couples, each with a wood-burning heater and plenty of firewood, plus an electric kettle for making tea. The TV has open channels, YouTube, and Netflix. A trail runs through an orchard where you can pick whatever you like, and there’s a place to rest and take in the view of pedra do baú. The pousada's water comes from its own mineral spring. The owners were attentive and helpful, making breakfast and treating us warmly, and their dogs were affectionate too. It's about 20 minutes from downtown São Bento. A lovely spot to relax and forget your worries. I really recommend it and hope to come back.

The view from the inn was beyond anything a photo or expectation could capture. The chalets were clearly designed for comfort and rest, and everything was impeccably clean. The room details were so well cared for, clean, and comfortable, and the walls kept outside noise out so we could sleep in real quiet. We spent two wonderful days here, my wife and I. The service was perfect, and the view from the bedroom window was enchanting. Going up the mountain road, you come across the most beautiful view of the whole valley. Breakfast at the inn was abundant and prepared with such care, clearly meant to please. Every detail made us feel immersed in nature.

There were birds everywhere, and the landscape was almost surreal. The rooms were perfect and exceptionally clean, while breakfast felt like a feast. Everything was immaculate down to the smallest detail, and it far exceeded our expectations. Our hosts, Denise and Gustavo, were always so warmly welcoming. Five stars hardly seems enough for this little piece of paradise. We’ll definitely return, and we’re very happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful, restful getaway.
