Go Inn São Mateus

The room worked well for two people, with a good bathroom, a very good shower and a large sink. We stayed on the first floor. Breakfast was good, though the restaurant is small for the number of rooms. The coffee machine didn't work every day. The pool is very small. I missed having glass cups in the room, since the ones provided were plastic, and the minibar seemed much too small.

The room was very good, and so was the location. The problem was the service. We booked and paid through Nubank, and had the confirmation in our email, but at check-in they said there was no reservation, even after we showed the CODE and PROOF of booking. It could have been sorted out calmly if the employee had shown any interest in helping. Instead, he just repeated that there was no reservation, and it took more than ONE HOUR to resolve. I called Nubank myself, and they handled things and got it fixed. We'd just arrived after more than 12 hours of travel, with our two little cats waiting in the car. It was a huge hassle. There was only one employee handling check-in and the hotel's other requests.

I was traveling by car, so being two blocks from BR 101 was very convenient. The hotel has great facilities, including covered parking. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great shower. Breakfast was good too. The only issue was the Wi-Fi, which wasn't available on the first day. I'd stay here again if I return to the city.

The room was clean, comfortable and everything in it was in perfect condition. Meals were delicious and carefully prepared, and the place felt welcoming, suitable for both work and a break. I was warmly received, the service was impeccable, and the staff were wonderful, attentive, polite and always ready to help. I had an excellent stay. I'd recommend it without hesitation and will definitely come back.
