Hotel Atlantic Marlin

We waited outside several times because the one employee responsible for letting people into the hotel was also handling guest requests, and nobody was available at all times to open the entrance. The garage gate didn't close either, so anyone walking by could get in, which left us feeling completely unsafe. The room caused the biggest trouble. We had booked four months ahead for two adults and a child, but were given a room with just one bed. It took a long time to get another room prepared to match what had already been agreed. With staff in short supply, I even had to help get the room set up myself, which is unacceptable at a hotel. The air conditioner was very noisy and didn't cool enough, so we had to change rooms for that reason too. Breakfast was only so-so, and the staff service also fell short. My experience was terrible in almost every way, and I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

The hotel needs urgent renovation. The grounds feel neglected, the overall structure is poor, and there's overgrown brush in the parking area with the gate missing, apparently torn off. Even the top room with a hot tub, sea view and balcony didn't justify its price. The blinds let in sunlight and don't give you privacy in the tub, which is right by the street. The tub makes a lot of noise, and when someone in another room uses one, the plumbing noise can wake everyone. The room itself is dark and poorly lit, and the TV has nothing worthwhile. The hotel Wi-Fi simply didn't work. The receptionist said they hadn't paid the Vivo bill, which doesn't exactly suggest good organization. Breakfast was pretty poor, with few options. Expensive, with bad service. A terrible choice.

For R$ 700,00 a night, I expected much better. The walls were peeling and the shower was very dirty. We asked for blankets but were told none were available. The sheets were stained and torn, which felt careless and unhygienic. They say towels and bedding are changed every two days, but when I asked, I was told they were out. Then on our last day, the water was off. The whole stay was unsatisfactory for the price.

On our third night, we got back and there was NO WATER 😳. They offered us a room on the first floor, but we didn't like it, so we're waiting for the water to come back. It's already 10 p.m. and nothing's been sorted out. When we arrived, the room had no bed linens. They rushed to bring some.
