A great spot.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, and the price felt excellent for what we got. Marluce, Renato, and their children are lovely people, which really made the stay stand out. The family-run inn is right beside Rua da Xêpa.

The hosts were so thoughtful and helpful, and the inn is cozy, lovely, and close to everything. I’d choose Alto mar Flats again without hesitation whenever I’m back in São Miguel do Gostoso. If you’re unsure where to stay in Gostoso, this place is an easy recommendation. Hope you have a great stay.

Marluce and Renato were incredibly attentive. The flats are well equipped and the location is hard to beat, close to Rua da Xepa, restaurants, a bakery, and plenty more. Great value too. Highly recommend!

Marluce and Renato are wonderful, always ready to help. There’s no luxury here, just a lot of care and attention. The flats are clean and well maintained, with air conditioning, electric showers, and a minibar or fridge in every unit. The larger ones even have a full kitchen. Four are on the main street and two on a side street. There’s no breakfast, though a great bakery and a supermarket are nearby. I’ll come back another time.
