We loved the wonderful energy at Pousada Caravelas, and the cats were adorable. The place itself is colorful, charming, beautifully decorated, and quiet, with a lovely pool. Our room was comfortable, with air conditioning and both hot and cold water. Breakfast was among the best we had on the whole trip, with lots of Brazilian specialties. The English-speaking host was so kind and helpful, and his wife was lovely too. He looked after us and was always available with information about rentals, transport, taxis, activities, and restaurants.

I had such a good time at Pousada Caravelas. The staff were attentive and really sweet, and the inn is on a quiet, peaceful street. I didn't have a car, but could walk to the beach, supermarkets, restaurants, and bars. I enjoyed slow mornings over the lovingly prepared breakfast, and spent time reading and resting in the balcony hammock or relaxing by the pool.

The owners made us feel like friends, welcoming and kind, and they suggested some incredible outings. That was the standout for me. My husband and I will definitely come back, it was so worth it. The pousada is beautiful and peaceful, in a great location. Our chalet was very clean and tidy, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with vegetarian options too.

We loved the exclusive buggy outing organized by the pousada. We saw so many beautiful things around Gostoso that nobody talks about! Naga and Vivi, the owners, are very friendly and helpful. The setting is pleasant, the breakfast was delicious, and the new towels and bed linens smelled fresh. We had a great experience and recommend it.

It felt like having a home while traveling, with a welcoming atmosphere and really good service. The pool was pleasant too. It's easy to get to Ponta do Santo Cristo, Gostoso's most sporty beach. In season there are hundreds of kite and windsurfers there, and beach tennis in the late afternoon, along with those beautiful sunsets. Highly recommended!
