The staff were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home at Capoeira dos Milagres. Our spacious, clean bungalow was beautifully designed, surrounded by nature, and only a short walk from the beach. Breakfast was amazing, fresh, tasty, and varied. Such a peaceful, charming place. I'd highly recommend it if you're visiting São Miguel dos Milagres!

The stay was even better in person than it looked in the photos and reviews. Breakfast was generous, and we got to choose the items the night before. Rosa welcomed us warmly and covered the main details, but since there's no reception, a few questions came up later. A note in the chalet and a contact for questions, tour ideas, or restaurants would have added a lot. We stayed in chalet 2, right next to the kitchen, and woke up to breakfast being prepared. We were getting up early to go out anyway, so it wasn't a problem. Sandrinho was friendly when we got in touch, and the kitchen staff were impeccable. Great value in São Miguel.

Traveling alone, I was looking for a well-located, safe pousada, and that's exactly what I found. I really liked the room, which was spacious with a big bed. Breakfast was plentiful, and you choose it the day before, which helps prevent waste. The local shops and businesses are basic and could be better, but that didn't take away from the pleasure of staying so close to the beautiful beach at São Miguel dos Milagres.

We had a great one-night stay. The chalets are very well built, with every detail thought through for comfort. Congratulations to the pousada team. Breakfast was good too.
