The grounds are lovely, with tasteful rustic decor and wood carvings everywhere. The beach facilities are excellent, and the staff are friendly and attentive. We could easily communicate with them by WhatsApp. Food and drinks are very good too. It's not what I'd call upscale, if that means the kind of place like the Ritz Carlton where people sneer at you for coming to breakfast in a bathing suit. Here, I'd be comfortable in a bathing suit and flipflops all day, yet it still feels peaceful and intimate enough for a honeymoon or anniversary. There's plenty of room for kids, though parents should be considerate if their kids are being disruptive and others want quiet. My one complaint: the room fragrances were very strong in the lobby and our room. I have asthma and that stuff really affects me. It was easy to find where they were coming from and move it to the porch. The provided soaps and lotions were only lightly scented, and my reactive nose and skin handled them well. The AC was great, and the Smart TV made it easy to use my own Netflix. There are hammocks, and snorkeling vendors right next door.

We'd stayed here before and had a remarkable visit, so this time left us very unsatisfied. The grounds are beautiful, the location is prime, and the chalets were very nice. The working staff were friendly and worked hard, though a bit more training might suit a property at this level and price. At reception, we got an unfriendly, inefficient response, as if our questions or requests were a bother. When we asked for our bags to be brought to reception in the rain, it took three calls and then a walk through the rain to get them delivered, an hour after the first call. Restaurant service was very slow, and we were told there was no bread for breakfast. That's not acceptable at this price. After we complained, bread suddenly appeared. Lunch on our first day wasn't very good, and the bar food was just OK. We planned to have dinner there one night, but decided against it.

Wassu restaurant in praia do Toque, Alagoas is the best option in Milagres. Great service, food and atmosphere, with friendly people. The menu and flavors are stunning.

A great escape in São Miguel dos Milagres. The landscaping is beautiful, the view of Toque Beach is stunning, and the rooms are spacious and spotless. Breakfast is top notch too. The staff are professional and kind. We'll definitely be back.
