The shower was good and the internet worked well, but this place has a long way to go before it's worth the price. If you're not demanding, maybe it's fine, but I needed at least basic cleanliness, comfort, and safety. The blanket in the room was dirtier than the homeless man's across the street, so I was glad we'd brought our own. It's supposedly 15 minutes from CHN airport and Sao Paulo Expo, but the area around it felt rough, so be careful not to get lost. There's no sound insulation at all. I sneezed in my room and the guy in the next room said, "Bless you." At night you can hear people talking and walking around. The bed, made by pushing two single beds together, was broken.
The room was clean, but it smelled intensely of mold, and there was no soundproofing. We could hear everything happening in other rooms and out on the street. The bed was two single beds pushed together, with just one blanket, so my wife was cold. Access was a mess too. My wife and I got an email asking us to register our faces for entry, but the facial recognition system was disabled or simply not working when we arrived. The one-time access code sent by email didn't work at the door either. The person on site gave us a different code that certainly didn't seem unique, which made us feel extremely unsafe. There are no amenities in the "hotel," not even a vending machine if you want a drink at night. You'd have to order through IFOOD and hope something nearby is open. The person looking after the place was very helpful, but greeted us with a sour look because they'd have to keep opening the main door when the facial ID failed. Honestly, this seemed like a little condominium of studio apartments converted into a hotel, but it isn't really a hotel and should be classified differently. I wouldn't stay there again and don't recommend it to anyone.
The room had plenty of space, but it was very basic. What they called a double bed was two singles pushed together, and my partner and I slept uncomfortably. The bed also creaked, and there was no sound insulation at all. You could hear footsteps upstairs as if they were in the room. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, so we couldn’t even watch the small 32-inch TV. If everything had worked as it should, I’d still give the hotel three stars at most. There’s room for improvement. I’d only suggest it for someone who needs a night’s stop before going to the airport. If you’re expecting somewhere comfortable to unwind, you’ll be disappointed.
The room was clean, but the bed for a couple was uncomfortable: it was two single beds pushed together. We were given two bath towels, but no face towels or bath mat, and when we asked for water, the hotel wouldn’t provide even one bottle. The staff greeted us with scowls and bad moods, and there was no support from the hotel. I was very dissatisfied and wouldn’t recommend it. They should call this something other than a hotel.
There’s plenty of shopping nearby, including a bakery and market, and Congonhas Airport is about ten minutes away. My room was clean and had a smart TV, air conditioning, and a minibar. It was comfortable and convenient, and I really enjoyed staying at this Congonhas location. I’d definitely recommend it.
