If the receptionist hadn't behaved that way, this would definitely have been five stars. I was staying with a 10-year-old child, and we arrived a little early. We'd completed the facial registration, and when it started raining, the receptionist asked us to wait inside while the host released the apartment code. Then the attendant GEOVANA came back from lunch stressed and very rude. She even told us to go wait in the rain. She looked at us and laughed, too. It was really disrespectful and unkind. Maybe she was frustrated about something after lunch.

The room smelled bad and the floor was dirty. The bathroom walls were dirty, the paint was peeling, and hooks were broken or missing. The shower faucet was noisy and barely worked, making the temperature hard to adjust. There was one plastic chair on the terrace, and it was broken. The terrace enclosure let in a lot of street noise. Check-in was a hassle: they kept our luggage at the door for an hour and wouldn't let us in. The concierge was no help and spoke only Portuguese, so if you're a foreigner, forget staying here. For the sofa bed, they provided only a mattress cover or fitted sheet, with no flat sheet or pillow. I can't understand the overall rating this place has.

If you're looking for a safe, clean, new, functional place with good value in central São Paulo, I recommend this service. I really enjoyed it. A view of Largo do Arouche makes a difference if you can get one.

Cozy and well equipped, and the female doormen provided excellent service. A few of the male doormen were really rude, though. Apart from that, I have nothing to complain about.
